Overview

Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

This whole experience was so enriching! The forest is beautiful! Uni is soooo knowledgeable about different plants and most of all mushrooms! Super cool tour! A must!

I've taken a TON of tours in Salem, MA over the years but this NEW tour was (dare I say) the best one ever! We took a walk through a beautiful forest - that I didn't even know existed in Salem - and the guide, along with her "Bard," was so so so knowledgeable and broke down witchcraft, etc. in a way that made it less about "halloween witches" and more about regular witchcraft. Highly, highly recommend.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed & greeted individually by Salem Forest Lore Guide Euni, She also gifted us Crystals in stylish little bags, we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, twas a wealth of information on the uses of local herbs, mushrooms and other forest natural life and how they could be used to benefit us in our own. I learned quite a bit and for that she deserves a special thanks. Euni is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide. I truly enjoyed walking through the area. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The community built fort near the end of the tore was also a great sight, we were invited in to explore and take photographs as well! The atmosphere is so special, twas an escape from the hustle and bustle of life, a moment to truly zen out and just be one with nature. All respect for Euni who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent tour guide! Many thanks again and I recommend Salem Forest Lore Tour to everyone!
