Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

The Mushroom Witch led us on a wonderful tour through the Salem woods where she detailed the unique biodiversity of the forest and how mother nature has served as an integral foundation for all those who have encountered her. Anyone who has an interest in seeing how history has been dependent on nature will surely enjoy this. It is an important reminder how crucial it is that we persevere our planet for the future.
