Overview

Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

I had a mix up an missed the the scheduked time of my tour. I contacted the tour operator, Euni, and she was able to accommodate me on another tour, which was awesome because she was not obligated to do so. This tour is different than your typical ghost tour. Connecting nature, science and spiritual aspects of what it means to be a witch. Also a really nice place to hike. Euni and Jamie were great guides, informative and entertaining.

Uni was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the hike as opposed to being on a city tour, but it was a narrow trail and if you weren’t towards the front you could not hear her (hence the 4/5). She had interesting facts and fun stories. She was very personable and funny. We would recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was wonderful. I believe her name was Uni. The walk through the woods was beautiful and very informative! We really enjoyed it and all of Salem! A very serene and magical place 🤎
