This was an excellent way to view Boston from the harbor and a fast service to Salem! The captain and deckhands as well as the guy that told us what we were seeing.

Terrible user experience. No option for two way travel with one purchase, when go back to buy return ticket default travelers (2) and date (tomorrow) are set. I accidentally booked right time, right # of travelers, but wrong day and “no refunds!” Is everywhere. Greeeat. I had to pay for a third ticket to get back to Boston only to see in confirmation email that I could have changed the date after purchase of wrong ticket but no refund for 3rd. I book ferry passage all over the place, this was horrible. I hope the trip is better.

Let's just say, it was not a pleasant boat ride to Salem. The first problem, and not the fault of the tour company, was the very choppy sea caused by remnants of Hurricane Ian the weekend before. A number of people on the boat became very seasick including a member of my traveling group. The second problem was that when my friend was forced to use the bathroom to throw up, the dirty conditions in the bathroom were so disgusting she became even more ill. Finally, we were supposed to have a running commentary describing sites along the shoreline, but unfortunately, the fellow on the microphone had difficulty speaking and was impossible to understand. All in all, it made for a very difficult boat ride. Perhaps on a day with better, smoother conditions we might have enjoyed the ride in spite of the poor narration, but on this particular day it was a difficult experience.
