We were so disappointed once we arrived to Salem from Boston and the employee on the ferry told us that it was the last pick up for the day. She said they “usually run later but we’re not doing so today.” My husband, five year old son, and myself had to decide if we should waste a trip and go right back to Boston or get off in Salem and take a train back to Boston. We paid round trip for nothing. The frustrating part is that I asked the ticket agent who was right in front of the boarding station (so not a third part vendor) if we would be able to get off in Salem and explore and return. She said yes and gladly took my card! So angry that visitors are treated this way by this company. I have not tried to contact the company because everyone seemed to not really care that we were misguided.

Hot day, very cool on the water. Quick comfortable trip for a great day exploring Salem. Employee descriptions and info on the river added a lot to the trip and made the time pass even more quickly.
