Join your local guide for a fascinating trip back in history as they share the story of Salem’s founding in 1626 by Puritans whose search for religious freedom ultimately ended in a wave of fear, suspicion, and anger that gripped Salem for one fateful year. Your tour will include stops at some of Salem’s most popular locations, and some secluded off-the-beaten-path locations that very few tourists get to experience. Along the way, your guide, an experienced storyteller, will recount details of the witchcraft hysteria & Salem’s unique dark history.

Had a great time and learned a lot! Tour guide was funny and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a couples thing or even as a family thing!

Really lovely walking tour! Our guide was super informative, personable, and helpful. I loved how much she truly loved her city, and did a great job of highlighting how solemn the witch trails were while making the tour enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone interested in colonial history and the Salem Witch Trials!
