This tour may have been great but we will never know. It took an hour to find parking so we were running about 15 minutes late. We tried calling EVERY number we could find but no answer. We went to Coon's the meeting spot for the tour and they told us they knew nothing about the tour and couldn't help us. We spent an hour walking around trying to find the tour...no luck. We asked the information desk and they knew nothing. Now we are out 50 dollars and got NOTHING for it.

Hi Laura, We just finished out our evening tour schedule and got your message. I’m so sorry you had a tough time parking today( Salem in October is a challenge). It’s a big part of why we ask our guests to arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts to check in. Unfortunately, we as guides can’t keep our phones on once the tour has started, (we start at 5 past the hour)so there is no way to answer a call coming in at 3:20, I apologize. None of the information booths will have any information about specific tour routes for any company either,so I’m sure that was frustrating . We do wish you had given us a bit of time to be able to answer your message before writing a such negative review for our company without taking a tour. We are more than happy to refund you, and already have. We would never expect anyone to pay for a tour they did not take. We are really proud of our tours and hope you will consider giving us another try. As you can see from the other stellar reviews, our tours are excellent. We’re sorry we didn’t get a chance to meet you in person.

Maria our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Salem. She was presentable, funny, articulate and to the point. Allowed us to ask questions and would answer them without hesitation. Highly recommend this tour with her, you will be greatly informed and entertained by her. Great person and tour.

I’ve been on a couple other tours in Salem, this one was hands down the best. Maria is super knowledgeable and passionate, without being cheesy. She’ll show you the best Salem has to offer all while explaining what makes each stop an important part in the town’s history. Every recommendation she gave afterwards was spot on.
