It tour was very informative of the history of Salem. It also gave light to the dark stories of the town history of the witch trails. Our tour guide was very informative about the paranormal and was able to answer questions with no issues. I would recommend it to anyone.

We were very excited for this tour and thought we would hear about voodoo and vampire history related to Salem, but what it was just stories (like someone working in an office and having ghostly encounters), and the vampire and voodoo parts just touched only very lightly on Salem. There was more talking about Vlad the Impaler in Romania (which we already knew and could have read on the Web if we didn't) and a very, very thin stretch on voodoo by saying the slave Tituba was the first to have maybe delved in it. And that was it as far as voodoo and vampires were concerned. Having been on other walking tours in Salem, the route was also just a standard rectangular path--there was no special sites even slightly off the beaten path. If you've never been to Salem, this would be good, but this was not our first time, so we learnt nothing new. We were expecting little-known details to be pointed out, but everything that was told we already knew. The guide was nice enough and spoke well and was all decked out with a voodoo skull hat. We would have been less disappointed if we hadn't booked it expecting the tour to live up to its name--this really should be called "Supernatural Tales" or "Salem Folklore."
