The guide was awesome. We learned a ton and it was a great time! Definitely recommend when you're visiting Salem.

We came from New Haven, Connecticut. This was our first time is Salem, Mass I’m so glad we did this walking tour before anything else! Highly recommend a walking tour for first timers as it helped orient us to the area and helped us plan accordingly as to where the shops and main attractions are located plus locations we wanted to explore on our own. The tour guide was excellent and literally brought our imaginations right into the story he was telling, he also gave a lot of history behind the Salem witch trials plus some spooky stories tied to the area as well. There are many walking tours to choose from but if you’re into the more supernatural aspect of Salem as the name of the tour implies than this tour is the one for you! We did the 8 PM tour which added to the spookiness as it was already dark at that time. The guide recommended we take pictures along the way in hopes of capturing any apparitions then we would show him our pictures at the end of the tour and if we did captured anything he would tell us if it was authentic or caused by the flash/ glares, etc. as the guide is also an experienced paranormal investigator. The tour was a good 90 min to 2 hours long but we were so engaged in the story telling that we didn’t even notice! Again, excellent tour and the guide was well prepared and very knowledgeable, also spoke loud and clear for the group to hear perfectly. Definitely worth every penny, tour also kid and pet friendly.

Dr. Michael was an exceptional tour guide. He’s incredibly knowledgeable of the history of Salem and one can feel that he truly enjoys sharing that knowledge. He is so kind to answer questions and listen to our own stories as well. This tour provided a great history of the Salem Witch Trials while also including other spooky topics which adds to the appeal of the tour. I will absolutely take this tour again.
