As a theatre buff, performer and ex-tour guide, I can 100% say I was blown away by the tour. Dr. Vitka has a way of captivating his audience so that they're hooked on every word he says. His tours are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and historically accurate. By no means is he trying to deliver a "hocus pocus" package where he capitalises on myth and/or legend-- he provides and honest and intelligible product perfect for everyone. If you're looking for madeup horror stories, Dr. Vitka's tour isn't the one for you. But if you're looking for the best tour in town, Spellbound Tours is a MUST!

The tour was amazing. The guide clearly loved the information he was sharing and was enthusiastic in the presentation. I think this is a spooky activity that can engage all ages. Each stop was exciting and the guide was very knowledgeable about both history and folklore and made for an above excellent presentation. We stayed in Salem for two days and this was the most informative tour we took. Definitely recommend especially as a first stop in Salem to build your itinerary from there!

We had a great time attending the tour with Mike. He was super knowledgeable about Salem’s history and was able to answer any questions. He kept a good pace and kept us interested even after we had spent all day learning about the witch trials from other museums. Great way to spend the evening!
