Spellbound Tours is by far the best tour in Salem, MA. Mike (and his team) is not only a knowledgeable historian, but also a paranormal investigator. He took the time to talk to every tourist before, during, and after the tour. It is family friendly. This walking tour took us through all around the town and stopped at many famous/infamous historic places in Salem. At the end of the tour Mike took the time to look at any and all photos tourists took that may have paranormal images. This 1 1/2 - 2 hour tour is worth it! There are 17ish different tour companies in Salem. If you are planning on going on more than one, take the Spellbound Tour last. otherwise you will be disappointed in the rest.

Fantastic experience!! Good mix of Salem witch trial history and modern day corollaries. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend!

We had a great day today with the tour. I’ve been to the city countless times so I’m familiar with the usual tourist traps and flashy museums. This was a great ‘off the beaten path’ tour talking about the history and facts that you don’t usually hear, not just about the Trials but also vampire history and serial killers. While the paranormal elements were mostly conversational (we didn’t see ghosts) the tour was interesting enough that we didn’t need that. We learned a lot about the darker gory side of Salem.
