Tours depart at 4pm. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your tour. Check in at Salem Historical Tours Office at 8 Central Street, Salem, MA.
Please be advised that the state of Massachusetts and the City of Salem are requiring masks to enter business establishments. You will not be able to enter our business without a mask or face covering. Until further notice, a mask or face covering will be required on tours since we will not be able to stay six feet away from each other. Salem Historical Tours LLC reserves the right to deny service to anyone refusing to wear a mask or face covering. This requirement is subject to change based on orders by the state and the city.

We use an amplifier so you can social distance. Masks are not required outdoors but are optional. Effective Aug. 23, Salem is requiring that masks must be worn indoors whether you are vaccinated or not. You'll only need to come into our office to pick up your tickets and/or to peruse our gift shop.

What To Expect

Haunted Footsteps & Salem Historical Tours

Examine the demographics, theories and personal stories comprising the dire events of 1692. We will bring you to many of the locations that are full of witch trial history. Many of the structures are long since gone except for a few, but we know where they were located. This is a fascinating tour that will shed new light on what happened during the infamous witchcraft hysteria which turned neighbor against neighbor.

Salem Witch Trials Memorial

Dedicated in 1992, this bench style memorial is in remembrance for the 20 innocent victims of the 1692 Salem Witchcraft Trials.

Witch House

The only remaining Salem structure with direct ties to the witch trials of 1692.

Took almost 2 hrs to find parking, so we missed our original tour start, of which they were nice enough to switch our time to a later date... that was the best part of the tour. Our tour guide was horrible. So much, that we left about halfway into the tour. Our tour guide stated they were flustered by people, of which then proceeded to read each tour stop from a book. Flustered by people, yet working in October in Salem?.. Waste of money in my opinion. I would save my money and just walk around next time!

Many problems with facts here. We did accommodate you because you were late and put you on a ghost tour, not the Witch Trials Tour, because you missed the last witch trials tour of the day. The ghost tour does not discuss the witch trials at all. It is about the paranormal, accidental death and murder. The book the guide used was a spell book. She referred to it and read from it. It seems you were the one flustered because you failed to plan for crowds and the pang. It seems you wouldn't have been satisfied no matter what tour company or guide did the tour.
