Terrible walking tour! Group was too large and the guide walked extremely fast, then would spin around and start talking while 80% of the group was trying to catch up. The streets were jam packed with crowds and he didn't seem to care that his group couldn't keep up. By the time everyone caught up to the guide, he spun around again and raced down the street. In addition, he was SO quiet, even with a microphone, and had ZERO enthusiasm. I couldn't hear a word he was saying...he was incredibly monotone , expressionless, and did not enunciate at all. Another tour guide walked up and started talking louder (without a microphone) and our guide just looked so defeated and stopped talking and was like, "let's just keep going." Ummm...really? The couple next to us gave up and walked off within the first 15 minutes and we ditched the tour about 3 minutes later. Complete waste of money and super disappointing that someone with so little energy or passion would lead historical walking tours.

We keep our tour groups to 35-40 people while other companies go 50 or more. This makes it easier to get to the locations and gives ample time for people to catch the group before the guide starts talking. Our guide also carries a very visible walking stick and holds it up in the airt so people can follow it. All of our guides use microphones so they are very loud. All of our guides are certified by the city. Many are teachers and historians and are incredibly passionate about the events of 1692. You should have stuck with the tour instead of walking off in 18 minutes, which is not enough time to evaluate a tour.
