We spent a well invested 4 1/2 hours with Christopher and learned lots about this terrific city. Of course the Temple Square area is the highlight (the Tabernacle organ performance was terrific!) and Christopher gave this area just the right amount of attention. We were impressed with how vital the city is with lots of new construction and expanding retail options. The portion of the tour that went through the University of Utah was very informative as was the time spent at the Mormon Trail area was most enjoyable. Lunch at Lions House was OK but those rolls are pretty yummy! An enjoyable time; highly recommend it!

I was very lucky to be able to get a seat, since I only called the City Sights office about 90 minutes before their pick-up time. I was in Salt Lake City for only one day, so this tour was perfect. Our guide Wynn was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. This 4-hour tour includes a visit to the State Capitol, where Wynn took us around and provided a commentary, Temple Square (you’ll be in time for the organ recital at the Tabernacle), a drive past distinguished mansions and visits to other historic points. The lunch stop is at the lovely Lion House, a Mormon landmark built in the late 1800s.

We enjoyed the entire tour because the guide was very interesting and enjoyable. He treated everyone with kindness and had so much knowledge of the city.
