We really enjoyed our morning tour of SLC. Our guide was excellent (sadly I forgot his name but he’s a Latin teacher doing tours in the summer and on holidays). We got out and saw an old Mormon settlement, the capitol building, and the tabernacle with a brief organ concert. We also drove by all the important city sites with informative commentary from our guide. A must do if you have limited time in SLC.

Our excursion was quite enjoyable. We were very happy with Wynn Hall, the tour guide. He was friendly, likable, and well-informed about each location. The pace was good, and he gave everyone attention and thoughtfully answered their questions. We planned the tour for our first day to decide which location we would visit further later for a deeper dive. It's a must-do when you first arrive!

Driver was pleasant. As usual on a bus tour, you pass places quickly and difficult to hear driver at time. Bus was small and comfortable. What I didn't like, Trip advisor advertised buying lunch at the Lion's House, the former home of Brigham Young. That did not happen. Driver said her company has informed Trip adviser of this, but they have noy changed the listing. I booked to hear the brief organ recital at the Morman Tabernacle. That was great, but they always give that recital for FREE at 2pm.

Sorry you read the wrong description for the tour. That is a shame. The 20 mile route to show you all the historical sites for pictures and touring is designed to be a timely, organized plan to see an overview of the City. Everyone rides along to see, hear, take pictures and listen. The tour is 2 1/2 hours. No time for food and meals.
