What To Expect
1
Coachella Valley Preserve
Here your adventure makes it's first stop at the 3rd largest Oasis in the world. Here you will walk over a bridge that straddles the actual faultline. 30 minutes are spent here where there is about a half mile trail you can optionally take with your guide. Restrooms are also located here before we venture far into the wilderness.
2
San Andreas Fault
We travel by Hummer into the mouth of a canyon that was formed by the San Andreas Fault. Here the adventure in your Hummer begins and we follow a road many Jeeps will need to return. 1.5 billion year old rocks are in this canyon that date back to the bottom of the Grand Canyon! The scenery is mind-bending as you see the tortured rock formations beneath the cobalt blue skies of the high desert.

I had more fun than I have had in a long time. We took the 3 hour tour off-roading up into the mountains in early December when the temperature was around 75 degrees. The scenery was awesome and Don, our guide was great. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely take this one again.

My wife and I took our ten year old granddaughter on this four hour tour. We all loved it, especially our granddaughter and she doesn’t usually like amusement rides. Expect to be wind blown and bounced all over the place with a very rough ride if you go. Our tour guide, Don, was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the terrain of the desert! He worked very hard to make it a special day - right down to volunteering to take pictures of us in the best spots. We would recommend the tour and the driver! One hint if you go in the afternoon: bring warm jackets to put on when the sun begins to set, as the desert can get quite chilly.

Great fun in the desert! Our guide Don was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable! He knew the plants, animals and history of the area! He was great to explain it all to us. I love that he offered to take our picture at certain spots. Our 4 wheeling in the dark was an nice addition. The sun cooperated too and gave us a beautiful sunset! Fun for all ages, even our group of 4 retirees!
