What To Expect
1
Coachella Valley Preserve
Here your adventure makes it's first stop at the 3rd largest Oasis in the world. Here you will walk over a bridge that straddles the actual faultline. 30 minutes are spent here where there is about a half mile trail you can optionally take with your guide. Restrooms are also located here before we venture far into the wilderness.
2
San Andreas Fault
We travel by Hummer into the mouth of a canyon that was formed by the San Andreas Fault. Here the adventure in your Hummer begins and we follow a road many Jeeps will need to return. 1.5 billion year old rocks are in this canyon that date back to the bottom of the Grand Canyon! The scenery is mind-bending as you see the tortured rock formations beneath the cobalt blue skies of the high desert.

Did the afternoon tour the weather was great the trip was lots of fun and Don our guide was really special. You can tell he loves what he does and is extremely knowledgable made our trip lots of fun. This story may sound unbelievable but on the way up a rough dirt road my son's wallet must have slipped out of his jacket and dropped on the path........on the way back an hour later at dusk Don spotted it without us knowing my son had lost it he got out of the Hummer and picked it up checked the ID and handed back to my son.........Many Thanks Don!!!!!!!

We got an upgrade so they sent us to the Joshua's Tree Tour. It was all very nice. The guide was fun and gave us a lot of interesting information. The only thing I did not like is that is all seem to be in a hurry..... Jump in and out of the car a few times but had no time to enjoy the view and take pictures. We were able to talk only a few pictures and they had to be exactly in the place the guide chose. Would love to have a little time to contemplate the wonderful views!!

We appreciated how informed our guide, Don, was on the plantings and the history of the desert mountains and the Fault. Our grandchildren loved the tour and thought the off-road bounces were great! They were a bit tough on us since we were all sitting in the back seat of the Hummer and worrisome with one of our seat belts was not working. I would do it again - my husband would not!
