This small-group tour is the perfect way to see the missions and learn about the founding of San Antonio with its rich history and culture. Experience Spanish History, the Coahuiltecans, and the early southwest. Learn about the significance of San Antonio, San Pedro Springs, and the groups that came together to set the stage for the founding of the Presidio - San Antonio. Your experience starts downtown, see: the original La Villita; Main Plaza, San Fernando Cathedral, and Plaza de Armas. Travel along the San Antonio River to visit all the missions with stops at Concepcion, San Jose, San Juan, Espada, and the Espada Aqueduct. Tour ends at Mission San Antonio de Valero, famously known as the Alamo, or guest's hotel. Guaranteed departures twice a day, with no minimum guest requirements.

The Alamo exclusively utilizes their own tour guides or you can take a self-guided tour of the Alamo. A tour of the Alamo is not included in our Missions Tour.

Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very informative and I learned quite a bit about the history of Texas as well as the missions. The missions are lovely to visit and wander around - though, for us, a half day tour of the 4 missions (excluding Alamo) was plenty of time. The missions are not far from San Antonio. Well worth doing this tour.

It was nice that they were able to pick me up in their van at the hotel. Our guide, Alex, was very informative and knowledgeable about all four missions. He was able to give us a Great overview of all the missions without going into too much detail. Like that he dropped us off at a location of our choice. It was a great morning tour!!! I would definitely recommend it because you would not really get the whole idea of the missions if you just walk through by yourself.
