This was a trip we were really looking forward to my friend Donna and I. The missions were quite a site of times long gone and there was so much history. Some of the churches were closed by the time we got there, so I recommend you do the morning tours to get the most out of it. Personally I wouldā€™ve liked time to read some of the plaques with the information on them but our tour guide, Perry, a spitfire of a guy, was running late and talked a lot. He was a very nice guy but too in your face for my taste. There was a lot of exaggerated & personal stories intertwined with the historical portions of it. Some I appreciated, others I felt were a bit too much. Still a good experience and Perry did offer some suggestions of other places we should visit while in town; which we did. Thank you for that. However, next time Iā€™ll be touring on my own and at my own pace.
