Excellent tour, but oh that tour guide. Our guide Perry was exuberant, and knowledgeable. He was also extremely LOUD, anti Californian and a little too religious. I realize it is a tour of Catholic Missions but I didnā€™t need to hear about how wonderful the missionaries were. I know they werenā€™t. Also he enjoyed putting down Californians by saying once a week he met a Californian who never heard of Jesus, gas was $10.00 a gallon and other untruths, (Iā€™m from California) It put a pall on whatever he was telling me. Half of the tour group was from California. He was so loud my niece got a headache. I would have preferred a more unbiased guide.

I objected to his calling the Aztecs cannibals. The Caribes were indeed cannibals. Otherwise, very good info.
