I have been on many tours of breweries and wineries, but this was by far the very best. The owners and staff of Ranger Creek are genuinely enthusiastic and friendly and it is evident that they are passionate about their craft. The tour was informative and entertaining. The beer and whiskey were out of this world!! If you are in San Antonio, Ranger Creek B&D must be on your itenerary

My husband and I visited Ranger Creek today and went on their tour of the facility. It's a quick drive from downtown San Antonio and I definitely think worth the 1-2 hours it takes for the tour. Mark and Matt are incredibly nice. You can tell they really love to teach others about the beer and whiskey that they create.

I throughly enjoyed the brewstillery tour from this past November. It was actually one of the most educational tours I've had compared to other brewery tours, the staff walked through and clearly explained every step. It was also my first time visiting a distillery and I learned a great deal - for example, I will never forget Bourbon is whiskey - but whiskey is not always bourbon! I will also read all labels very closely now. Thank you for that education, even how to evaluate whiskey correctly. A suggestion though - personally I like to try several different beers that a brewery may have so I can decide which one I might buy a full 6 pack of, and get a real taste for the brewery's style. Instead of 2 large beers, why not allow 4 smaller beers (perhaps half the glass that is shared), so it is a true beer tasting experience. I also applaud you for doing what you can with crowd control - it is great to see all the community support, but hopefully will not be too much to hamper the fun, something to watch for in the future!
