Family visit & grandad needs a mobility scooter! We arrived at 11.00 & the very few disabled parking facilities were already in use so he was dropped near building while car was parked further away. However mobility scooters were only available inside zoo!which meant crossing two roads & walking up a steep flight of steps before reaching shop where they were kept then $40 per day seems A very expensive addition on top of entrance fee. Not the very best start to the day! However the zoo was well laid out & sufficent inside exhibits to cool down in the air con. Toddler grandson loved feeding the giraffes & other adults liked getting up close to them. I’ve never had the chance to see a crocodile swimming from under the surface before! Very impressed by that but surprised to see how content the hippos seem to be in such a small area.

Not as big as other zoos I've visited, but still a very nice one. Good variety of animals. Lots of different primates and birds. The admission was affordable and the staff was friendly and informative. We especially enjoyed seeing the hippos swimming.

We bought an annual pass and take our 2 1/2 year old twins once or twice a month. We try to arrive early before it gets too crowded. The zoo offers quite a selection of animal and is well laid out. The exhibits feel natural instead of just cages. There are also zoo staff with educational tables throughout the zoo and provide a lot of knowledge on the subjects they are presenting. We definitely enjoy going and seem to see something new or learn something each trip. Note summer weekends are quite busy and hot. We try to be there when they open for the heat and crowds. Do weekdays if possible.
