My wife and I are both from Sydney so we like to think we have one of the better Zoos in the world in Taronga. That being said, we found San Antonio Zoo a wonderful experience. It is quite small so it doesn’t take a whole day to walk around but has an amazing array of beautiful creatures. The enclosures were easy to access and have great views of the animals. Although some of the Perspex see through walls have seen better days! Overall it was a wonderful experience in a beautiful zoo!

This is a top-ten zoo. A great variety of animals to see. Really nice layout - I love how it's like a spoke and easy to go to different areas without having to walk all the way around. Feeding the animals was an experience we'll always remember. Definitely a must-do for a family visit to San Antonio.

This zoo offers everything you could ask for. There are many different exhibits and educational displays. It's clean and well spaced out. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. You could hit the entire place in one long day trip or space it out over multiple visits.
