My family loves this little zoo! We like to bring a picnic lunch to Brackenridge Park and then ride our bikes over. The annual passes we purchased are a really great value at only $35 each. There are lots of great exhibits, but the cats are our favorite. Our little girl loves them! The Zoo Lights at Christmas time are a must see! We see and learn something new every time we visit.

We had a great time, really enjoyed feeding the giraffes. The layout is pretty spread out so even when it's busy it's not too crowded. Will return!

We spent a lot of time walking up and down the Riverwalk and decided to spend some time at the zoo since we hadn't been to one since we were kids. It's a short cab ride from the Riverwalk and you can get a Fun Day Pass on line for $22. This includes the butterfly pavilion (which was interesting), the carousel ride and the train ride. This isn't a very large zoo but it's well kept and good for families or even a couple like us enjoying a half day adventure.
