My husband and I are locals and were celebrating our anniversary so we decided to do the SD Scenic tour to get a taste of San Diego from the eyes of the tour guide. The guide was friendly and she was good about engaging with everyone on the tour. She gave perfectly timed details about each location we were about to visit. Although my husband and I only live about 40 miles from most of the destinations, we had only been to one of them (La Jolla Cove). After getting a sample of the destinations, we definitely will be returning to spend more time in each. The only con to this tour was the size of the vehicle. There were 12 of us in a small van and the ride was very uncomfortable from destination to destination. I have a bruise on my bottom from sitting on top of a seatbelt the entire time. Ouch! Other than that, would definitely recommend.
