BEWARE! Don’t Trust This Tour Company!
My husband, my sister and I planned a trip to Hawaii and booked the San Diego Scenic Tour to end our vacation before returning home to Florida. We confirmed our San Diego Scenic Tour scheduled for May 12th with Roxane at San Diego Ride Tours before we left on April 26th, and I included my cell phone number as a contact. Roxane’s email ensured my family of meeting with the tour at the La Jolla Cove- which is their usual stop. We waited at the specified location for hours. The bus never showed. We called the phone number of Viator/Trip Advisor. Viator /Trip Advisor staff tried several times to reach San Diego Scenic Tours but no one answered their calls. We called the number we were given for the tour company and left several messages on my cell phone. No one responded and the bus never showed at the scheduled tour stop. We received no messages or calls from San Diego Scenic Tours since the April 26th message from Roxane. Our day was ruined, and we had to pay for a trip we never received. We will never again use Viator/Trip Advisor or San Diego Ride Tours, because we can't trust these companies to provide services so important to our vacation, nor can they be trusted to return fees accepted for services not provided- a bus that was a no-show.

Hello Patricia, I’m sorry you couldn’t get on the tour. You emailed us asking to pick you, and your group up in your hotel in La Jolla, and I told you it was not possible that you will have to meet us at our first stop, I emailed you the address, on which you never replied to me. A day before the tour, I texted you and emailed you to give you for the second time the address of the first stop, and reminded you that you will have to come to the first stop. Again never received an answer from you. The day of the tour, you waited at your hotel, and called us from there, I have a voicemail from you saying you were at the hotel waiting! The tour guide also tried to call you, without success.
Then we received an email from Viator saying you wanted to refund, because you never received the email I sent you, saying you will have to meet at our first stop. Since we were communicating via email, I didn’t see why you never received that information.
You are saying you waited at the first stop again, is not true. I was trying to be accommodating, as you are supposed to meet the bus at the pick up downtown, like everyone else.
I tried to reschedule and told you that if you come back to San Diego, I will still honor the tickets, but again never got a reply from you. Thank you
