This is a great way to see San Diego and learn some really interesting things along the way. We had Captain Halyard and Hatch narrating our tour. Hatch was a hilarious tour guide, who gave us a lot of military history about San Diego. Out in San Diego bay, there was one spot where we got to see some sea lions sunning themselves on a dock. Overall, the tour lasted about 2 hours from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to San Diego, especially if it's your first time.

My kids loved the experience to go see their native city in a different way. They have never been on a boat and they enjoy watching the sea lions and the other boats around. My wife and I enjoyed the view and the smiles on our kids.

This review just about the management, not tour itself. We're a tourist group of 5, includes 3 kids and 2 under 5. I booked tickets almost 2 weeks ago, drove 1 hour and arrived 20 mins before boarding, just because the car-boat parked at another location and the ladder setting down, so we thought that was the right place to wait for the board, turns out that’s not, and we arrived at the right place 15 minutes before boarding. The thing is they give you a boarding number but I didn't know that you can seat anywhere you want, that's fine, but at the least staff should tell people that a group better stick together. So seems like people like getting alone, and lack of basic manner that one of the groups occupied most window seats, at last, we have to seat separate to 3 different places which include 3 seats of the last row, we can not take care of our kids. The crew's guy asked (I give 2 stars just because of this) but no one moved, So we decided to leave for safety reasons. Asked for a refund, was told that because we arrived late, so they can not give me a refund, is that a real reason, what if we arrived 1 hour before but still some people arrived 1 minute earlier than us? I don't know if this tour worthy or not, but I really disappoint the management and some of the people who were on board, and I'll never do this tour or recommend it to anybody who has kids.
