I donā€™t think everyone will love this. Were lucky to see some dolphins but overall most memorable moment was to see vomiting people everywhere.

Visiting San Diego again we decided to take advantage of San Diego Whale Watchā€™s Free Ride policy, since we saw no whales or dolphins on our previous ride. We were cheerfully welcomed to ride again at no charge with no questions asked. Despite a steady breeze, our 3-hour ride was fairly smooth, and commentary by our hosts was interesting and informative. A variety of beverages including beer was available for sale, as well as snack items and virtually everything which could make the ride fun and comfortable. We traveled at least 6 or 7 miles out, and although we saw no whales or dolphins we werenā€™t really surprised because August isnā€™t whale-watching season. This was still a thoroughly enjoyable 3 hours out on the Pacific Ocean, and who could complain about that? True to their promise, everyone received a free pass for another ride in search of whales, and when weā€™re back in town we might just try a third time!

Great experience, the Pacific was beautiful 13 miles out and the marine life was fascinating. I would definitely do it again.
