Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

It was a wonderful day out in the water, the vessel had seating all through and although it was quite a choppy day out there, it was a good trip. We saw several Minke whales, many, many dolphins, sea lions, pelicans and other birds. We were out for a bit more than 3 hours and it was a great value. I would strongly urge anyone to bring seasick meds if they are susceptible to queasiness/motion sickness. The crew was wonderful with everyone and the captain was knowledgeable and gave us lots of information. The naturalist on board told us all about whales and dolphins. I recommend this trip and they go out all during the year, not just for summer. They also have a nature tour to the Coronados that I want to try as well.
