Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

I was Reminded The night before about my trip the following day, but then when I arrived at the dock I noticed the trip was cancelled which bother to company not Viator texted informed me about. They do however know what is my phone number to text me the info about my experience :-) Here it is! It was the best sunny day after a few gloomy ones and there was no justification for cancelling the trip on Memorial Day! Definitely would not use the company again.

Great crew. Of course, wild life is that, wild. So no whales today but we did see a moramora fish sunning itself and a few dolphin pods. Beautiful day on the water!

We paid a little extra to be on the top deck near the captain. It was definitely worth the extra cost. We weren’t able to see any whales. But we did see several dolphins, including a few mothers with their babies. : )
