We saw dolphins (which were cute) but not whales at all (we went in May and apparently thatā€™s between seasons, they should have told us). When we booked it wasnā€™t clear that it was 3 hours, which felt like eternity. Also, they should prepare people better for sea sickness, it was very bad and lots of people were throwing up and getting sick, by the end of it everyone looked miserable! The boat staff though were extremely nice and supportive and helpful, despite people throwing up everywhere they get 5 stars!

Good, sunny weather - perfect conditions. Not too choppy or cold on the water. Went out 9 miles because we didn't see any marine animals for first hour and a half. Then a pod of about 100 dolphins came towards the boat. Our guide was knowledgeable, she took photos and was able to inform us about the dolphins and birds we were seeing. In the distance we saw 2 whales who breached and blew out of their spouts. Regrettably they didn't swim near the boat and the boat has to stay 100 metres away from the animals. However, we were very happy that we had seen both dolphins and whales.
