On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco, the Mission District, you'll see how immigrants shaped the neighborhood by creating brilliant artwork, beautiful architecture and sharing their fantastic food! Originally home to Irish, German, and Italian immigrants, it is now the epicenter of San Francisco's Latino culture.

The Mission District is full of vibrant murals that offer a visual history lesson featuring themes ranging from cultural heritage to social-political statements. We will take a stroll through the neighborhood to get an up-close experience.

What a great way to see the Mission District and learn some of the history and great local stops! Starting at La Taqueria and moving on to a local italian bakery, oyster bar, chocolate shop (highlight), Vietnamese sandwich, wood fire pizza and ice cream! We stopped along the way to learn about the architecture , history and murals as well! Ended up at Dolores Park with incredible views! Fun for couples, families, single or friends to go enjoy San Francisco on foot! Bonus is on a certain Sunday we experienced the local festivities on Valencia street where the street is closed off and local vendors, bands and more! Walk right down the middle of the street to experience the local vibe. Our tour guide Daniel was GREAT!

LOVED the tour that the 12 of us (all friends) did in the Mission with David and the "Secret Food Tours" company. Great food, great drinks, beautiful street art...and a finale on top of Dolores Park. Awesome time had by all. David definitely knows the Mission!! Highly recommended!!!!
