Girlfriend and I were excited about the prospect of learning more about Sanford's much talked about reputation for unusual paranormal activity, as well as said activity's historical significance. We never entered a single building during the entire 90 minute tour if not for the final ten minutes at Hollerbachs restaurant. Very rushed, amateurish, uninteresting, hot, muggy, and most importantly...not scary. Avoid. Try Ocala or St. Augustine.

We appreciate your feedback - even if you did not enjoy the experience. This feedback does give us an opportunity to address some of your expectations and those of future guests.
We do state at the beginning of every tour that we do not expect to see paranormal activity during the actual tour. Sanford Ghost Tours does not offer paranormal investigating or spectral hunting. We are a walking tour that tells stories of ghosts past and present. This was communicated on our website and during your booking process. It also states that we are a walking tour that ends with a visit to an actual haunted building. I have included the paragraph from our website.
You booked a walking tour in August in Florida. Florida offers tropical climate year round – with August being the hottest month of the year. Unfortunately, this is not something we can control.
Again, it is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your experience with Sanford Ghost Tour. We can appreciate that this tour does not satisfy the entertainment expectations of every traveler.
Here is the paragraph mentioned above:
“Dare to experience a Historical Ghost Walking Tour in Historic Downtown Sanford, Florida! During this ghost walk, prepare to be regaled with tales of old and new concerning ghostly experiences in the downtown area, culminating with a walk to an actual haunted building! You will be presented with an overview of ghostly activities by an expert guide as you walk the streets learning historical stories gathered from the people who live in Sanford themselves. Incorporated in 1877, the stories of Sanford’s past residents and those still lurking around are plentiful.”
