For those looking for a unique wine experience beyond the crowded commercial wineries and tasting rooms, this is your tour. Sustainable Wine Tours provides guests exclusive access to only Santa Barbara’s ultra small production private estates, vineyards and wineries not open to the general public.

SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR: Tour is small and personal with only a maximum of six to seven guests per tour in our luxury Mercedes Coach.

Taste premium wines and tour the vineyards and barrel rooms often with the owners and winemakers themselves.

100% best wine tour we’ve ever been on I learned so much about the wine making process and really appreciated the small businesses that are taking the time to craft their wines and not mass producing

Very enjoyable experience with Karina. We visited three small wine producers (including the one in the warehouse that one of the other reviews complained about - we had seating/water and nibbles and, whilst a bit cool, gave an insight into that part of the wine process). All three were good tastings - obviously I enjoyed some wines more that others, as it is very much a personal preference. The nibbles and water bottles were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Karina herself is extremely knowledgeable on wine and gave us good background information on the wine area and the producers we visited. Would highly recommend the tour and would definitely go again as they change the vinyards they go to dependent on the customers on the trip, what they like and how experienced they are.

Fantastic, first class experience both tasting, and learning, about wine. Our guide, Scott, set up tours at three not-open-to-the-public wineries. So many personal touches--an outdoor picnic lunch complete with tablecloths and silverware, transportation in a spacious Mercedes Sprinter van and meetings directly with the winemakers. We will be back!
