For those looking for a unique wine experience beyond the crowded commercial wineries and tasting rooms, this is your tour. Sustainable Wine Tours provides guests exclusive access to only Santa Barbara’s ultra small production private estates, vineyards and wineries not open to the general public.

SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR: Tour is small and personal with only a maximum of six to seven guests per tour in our luxury Mercedes Coach.

Taste premium wines and tour the vineyards and barrel rooms often with the owners and winemakers themselves.

Steven was super friendly and knowledgeable- easy to ask questions. All the wines we sampled were excellent! The atmosphere and private tastings were special and picturesque! Meeting a few of the winemakers and hearing about their passion made the experience more special!

Best wine tour ever! This is my second time on this wine adventure and the owner Scott ensured that we visited different wineries this time. Our guide Steven was outstanding! Personable, knowledgeable, and engaging. Our group of 5 was so much fun and I felt like I was with friends. Wines were fantastic and every time I learn something new about the area and grapes and the process. Don’t wait book this now! It is an experience like no other. I took my mom five years ago when she turned 91 and she was disappointed that she could no go this time. The owner Scott is very accommodating. I will take this again!

This was my second time booking a wine tour with Sustainable Wine tours. The first time was several years ago, I enjoyed every minute of it and when my partner and I were coming back to Santa Barbara for a birthday weekend, I knew I had to take him on this tour! They do such a wonderful job of taking care of all the little details, from cheese boards, lunch, making sure you stay hydrated...all the wineries they work with are super personably and small, you really get a feel for the passion they all have at making every bottle of wine. It's not only educational but such a fun time. This not a tour if you want to get wasted on wine samples (though if you aren't careful that can happen lol), if you want an educational, fun and quaint experience this is your wine tour. Worth every penny!!
