For those looking for a unique wine experience beyond the crowded commercial wineries and tasting rooms, this is your tour. Sustainable Wine Tours provides guests exclusive access to only Santa Barbara’s ultra small production private estates, vineyards and wineries not open to the general public.

SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR: Tour is small and personal with only a maximum of six to seven guests per tour in our luxury Mercedes Coach.

Taste premium wines and tour the vineyards and barrel rooms often with the owners and winemakers themselves.

Honestly, this tour was so good I am considering doing it again in the future. Steven is a great tour guide and the places he takes you along with the people you meet... it's just all so special and intimate. I went in knowing almost nothing about wine, and came out an enthusiast. Apparently this was only a taste, as the company works with nearly 30 different producers and will make sure you don't see the same place twice.

Our Sustainable Wine Tour with Karina was outstanding. Scott made certain he understood our interests and wine preferences, and Karina, our wine guide, delivered an exceptional day that exceeded our expectations. We tasted lovely wine and met knowledgable wine makers and industry experts while touring beautiful properties and winemaking facilities. Karina provided us with an overview of the Santa Barbara area AVAs which was fascinating, and helped us better appreciate what we were drinking and seeing. I'd highly recommend this tour.

With so many wine tour company options available in Santa Barbara we were not sure which one to select. We have enjoyed wine tastings/tours world wide but we’re all in agreement this one was stellar and unmatched. We rode in comfort through the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley in a luxurious Mercedes Sprinter while being educated by our fabulous driver and wine EXPERT Karina. She had comprehensive knowledge about sustainable wines and wineries. Our small group visited exquisite estate wineries, nestled in the rolling hills and not open to the public. At each stop we were greeted by vintners who elaborated on the nuances of the wineries and the winemaking process as we tasted and indulged in lovely charcuterie. We also had a delectable picnic style lunch in a beautiful private setting. Thank you Karina and Sustainable Wine Tours for an incredible experience!!
