For those looking for a unique wine experience beyond the crowded commercial wineries and tasting rooms, this is your tour. Sustainable Wine Tours provides guests exclusive access to only Santa Barbara’s ultra small production private estates, vineyards and wineries not open to the general public.

SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR: Tour is small and personal with only a maximum of six to seven guests per tour in our luxury Mercedes Coach.

Taste premium wines and tour the vineyards and barrel rooms often with the owners and winemakers themselves.

My girlfriend and I booked the private wine tour as a way to destress from the holidays and enjoy a unique experience tasting excellent private wines as explained by the winemakers and experts. Learning how to taste wine is a crucial aspect of enhancing the wine experience and this tour truly explained the process in detail. I would encourage anyone who has a passion for wine and wants to enhance their experience to book this tour. This is not only a great couples experience, but I also recommend this experience to any groups of close friends and family. Meeting the private winemakers and learning about their passion made the experience even more palpable.

Sustainable Wine Tours is, hands down, the best experience you will have on a small group wine tour. Carina was our Guide and her knowledge and expertise was top notch. We had a wonderful lunch as well as appetizer trays at each location. We absolutely loved the variation of wines and many tastings throughout the day. The drive to Santa Ynez was gorgeous and extemely comfortable. We were two people and shared our tour with 2 more at a total of 4 on our tour which made the day amazing! We enjoyed every minute of our fabulous experience with Sustainable making sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely go again. No crowds, very personable and elegant. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. 10 Stars! Thank you Scott and Carina!

Karina, our guide was great. She shared a lot of information about the Santa Ynez wine region and winemaking. The three wineries we visited presented a nice selection of whites and reds to taste. One of them also included cheese, crackers and chocolate to pair with the wine. The catered lunch was excellent. We enjoyed our turkey sandwiches with sips of wine at a picnic table in the first vineyard.
