For those looking for a unique wine experience beyond the crowded commercial wineries and tasting rooms, this is your tour. Sustainable Wine Tours provides guests exclusive access to only Santa Barbara’s ultra small production private estates, vineyards and wineries not open to the general public.

SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR: Tour is small and personal with only a maximum of six to seven guests per tour in our luxury Mercedes Coach.

Taste premium wines and tour the vineyards and barrel rooms often with the owners and winemakers themselves.

I'll never forget this incredible tour in the Santa Ynez Valley with my work crew and the unforgettable Scott Bull of Sustainable Wine Tours. It was a gorgeous, blue-sky day in the Valley that from start to finish felt luxurious, exclusive, and entirely unique to our group. After getting picked up from our downtown Santa Barbara office in an ultra-comfy van and greeted with a bottle of champagne to kick off the day right, we were on our way. Each leg of this 3-stop tour took us deeper into the knowledge, practices, and expertise of the winemakers we visited. Every stop allowed us to meet the winemakers (and sometimes the owners), completing our tasting in the homes or private rooms. We felt truly special. Not only did we get to try delicious wines, learn about the biodynamic management of the wineland ecosystem, and go home with a few bottles ourselves — we had a fantastic time bonding with everyone we encountered on the trip. We even got to take a buggy tour through the vineyards, cuddle with winery cats, and stop at San Marcos for a post-tour sunset! And we felt completely taken care of every step of the way. I can't imagine having an experience like this with any other company, but I do know that I'm ready for the next one with Scotty. Let's do it all over again! THANK YOU, Sustainable Wine Tours!

Wow, what an amazing day in the Central Coast wine country! Scotty curated a truly thoughtful and diverse array of wine experiences for our group from start to finish. We were picked up in a stylish, super comfortable Mercedes Benz sprinter van and the ride up to wine country was stunning — views of rolling hills, mountains, green farm lands, oak and sycamore trees as far as we could see. Scotty arranged visits to three biodynamic wineries (huge points for sustainability!) throughout the day, where we met directly with the winemakers and winery owners making for a unique, behind-the-scenes experience. The knowledgable winemakers/owners were able to provide so much more detail on the production each wine as well as the history of the vineyard and the region then I have ever experienced on other standard wine tours. Our group was blown away by how personal and real/raw the whole day felt, plus all of the thoughtful extra touches like getting to hand feeding adorable goats, cheese/chocolate snacks we were given throughout the day, a delicious farm to table picnic lunch...I could go on! And of course I have to mention Scotty’s upbeat, fun and infectious energy! In addition to the incredible tour he has curated, Scotty himself is absolutely delightful, incredibly knowledgable of wine and the region, and clearly puts his whole heart into ensuring you have an amazing day. :) Unforgettable day/tour, fantastic wine… I absolutely will rebook again! This was my first wine tour and wasn’t sure what to expect. It turned out extremely well. You owe it to yourself to book this tour. I really loved the fact we got to spend the time with the respective wine makers, not just some employee at the vineyard.
