For those looking for a unique wine experience beyond the crowded commercial wineries and tasting rooms, this is your tour. Sustainable Wine Tours provides guests exclusive access to only Santa Barbara’s ultra small production private estates, vineyards and wineries not open to the general public.

SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR: Tour is small and personal with only a maximum of six to seven guests per tour in our luxury Mercedes Coach.

Taste premium wines and tour the vineyards and barrel rooms often with the owners and winemakers themselves.

We enjoyed our day with Scott who picked us up right at our hotel. We went to three different locations. We learned so much about wine and wine making as we had plenty of time and opportunities to ask questions since we were a small, intimate group. The wines at all three locations were different but very good. Scott was extremely kind, while we were at our second tour he went and purchased boxes and packing materials for those of us who wanted to save on shipping charges and take the wine home with us on the plane. We were able to meet with a master sommelier which was very interesting and informative. We were there in May and the wind was blowing. It was chillier than I expected at the locations we attended. I wished I had dressed warmer. Other than that it was a great day!

Great day. Perfect combination of information about winemakers, wine and wine making process, delicious wines and unbelievable views. Scott was fantastic and made sure all our needs were met.

We have been on a number of wine tours all over the world. This was by far and away the best. What made it so unique is that we were not ushered into a crowded tasting room to stand around and sample wines on our own. We were always the only people there. We were interacting with the winemakers themselves on their property. Each place was unique in it's setting. The vinters were delightful and passionate about their wines. The picnic lunch was delightful and served with real plates and cutlery on a picnic table in a vineyard. Steve treats his guests as if he were their good friend showing them around his area. I can't imagine choosing another tour or missing this one!
