Overview

Embark on this unique 3 and a half hour walking food tour of Santa Fe's Railyard Arts & Culture District. You'll get a chance to learn about the arrival of the railroad in Santa Fe in the 1800s and the rapid change this brought to the surrounding area. The Railyard Arts District is Santa Fe's most vibrant, up-and-coming neighborhoods that's home to some of the best restaurants and food/beverage artisans in the city. Stop at four uniquely Santa Fe venues on this tour to eat, drink and regale in the rich culture of Santa Fe.

This tour is designed with adventurous eaters in mind. Some food in New Mexico can be spicy, and while we can accommodate food allergies we are not always unable to provide "non-spicy" alternatives.

This is a walking tour. Moderate amount of walking required -- tour is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long, but spread out between the four stops. You MUST be in good walking condition to enjoy this tour. No refunds will be give to those who are unable to complete the tour route

Met several of the restuarant owners. They were very informative about their restaurants, culinary history of Santa Fe, etc. Of course the food sampling was excellent. We were with a great group of others, everyone got along, no issues. The tour seems to be a little expensive, but in the end well worth the cost.

I recently had the pleasure of being guided on this tour by Jay. He was an amazing guide and kept the vibe relaxed and fun while also being super informative and personable! The stops we made were amazing and really varied! There were great personal touches and you could tell that Jay had great relationships with all the venues visited. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to explore Santa Fe who is interested in food, drink, history, walking, all of the above. We definitely plan on repeating this tour and/or joining another one with Wander the next time we're in Santa Fe!
