Santa Fe Railyard Farmers Market Food Tour

Overview
Embark on this unique 3 and a half hour walking food tour of Santa Fe's Railyard Arts & Culture District. You'll get a chance to learn about the arrival of the railroad in Santa Fe in the 1800s and the rapid change this brought to the surrounding area. The Railyard Arts District is Santa Fe's most vibrant, up-and-coming neighborhoods that's home to some of the best restaurants and food/beverage artisans in the city. Stop at four uniquely Santa Fe venues on this tour to eat, drink and regale in the rich culture of Santa Fe.

This tour is designed with adventurous eaters in mind. Some food in New Mexico can be spicy, and while we can accommodate food allergies we are not always unable to provide "non-spicy" alternatives.

Thanks for joining us on a Railyard tour! The Santa Fe Farmer's Market is pretty special - I'm glad you enjoyed it! Fall is a great time to visit if you love fresh-roasted chile. We hope to see you on another tour in Santa Fe. Cheers, Joe

Joe, founder and owner of the business was our guide and he did a great job. The wife and I have taken food tours all over the world, from Tokyo to Naples, San Diego, etc. We would rate this as the best of the bunch and Joe as the top guide. We also felt the difference maker was the amount of time the chefs spent with us talking about the food and their passion for the community. He also provide great overview of the history and culture of Santa Fe. We had done a Santa Fe Plaza area food tour a couple of years ago with the different company and, while good, was not on par with Joe and his team. The experience enticed me to walk back too the Railroad District the next morning for the Farmer's Market, also a great experience,

Hi Steve, It was my pleasure hosting you and your wife on last week's Railyard tour. I'm so happy to hear you found the tour to be one of the best you've taken! I always love having seasoned food tour veterans join us! I'm also glad that the tour introduced you to the Railyard District and enticed you to return the next morning for the farmer's market. The Railyard is such a unique area that some visitors to Santa Fe miss - which is why we're so excited to share it with people! Thanks again for taking a tour with us, and I hope to see you back on another tour in the future! Cheers, Joe

If you want something new to do in Santa fe take the Wander Santa fe Railyard food tour! I have been going to Santa fe for years and decided to take this tour for a new adventure. I was NOT disappointed! Joe was a great tour guide. There were a variety of restaurants I had never been to and it was a privilege to talk with the chefs and learn about their passion for food. Generous portions, perfect wine pairings and a small group (8) that was a great size to get to know people. The distillery was a surprising and unique addition. The fun facts on history were just an added bonus. Loved it!

Hi! It was so nice to meet you and I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed the tour! The Railyard tour is great for long-time Santa Fe visitors like yourself that are looking to get "off the beaten path" and find new restaurants. I'm also glad to hear you enjoyed the chance to speak with the chefs and that you even learned a bit during the historical portion! Thanks for being a long-time visitor to Santa Fe, and I hope to see you back on another tour next time you're in town! Cheers, Joe
