Our expert guides are Florida Master Naturalists with vast knowledge of the local flora and fauna, as well as the fascinating local history! We get to kayak for a living! We never lose sight of that, and we show you our appreciation by keeping you safe, and making sure you enjoy our "office" as much as we do! We keep our groups small to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our equipment is high quality, well kept, and safe.

My husband and I, who haven't been kayaking in years, took the tour through the mangroves with our teenage grandsons. We all loved it. The first part of the tour was in open water and a canal, learning about some of the history of the area and in search of wildlife. We saw evidence of manatees, didn't see one, but that was fine. Going through the mangroves was a "pure Florida" treat. Our guide, Stefan, was outstanding - knowledgeable, fun, and enthusiastic, and spent much of the tour standing in his kayak paddling backwards. We could all hear him easily, even those of us who brought up the rear, and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour. One more thing - the seats of the kayaks have good back support.

Kayaking the Mangrove tunnels is an absolute MUST when visiting Lido Key!!! We went out with our kids, paddling tandem was great. No experience needed, shallow water, very safe! Seabiscuit was our guide and was amazing! We were so lucky to learn the fascinating history of the mangrove tunnels. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the native wildlife and habitat. He is very environmentally conscious and respectful of the delicate ecosystem. He has great dad jokes and general people skills :) 10/10!!!

Amazing experience! Didn’t even realize these groves existed until I stumbled onto their website online. Our guide, Josiah “Joe” Jones was awesome! He is so knowledgeable about the groves as he has also chosen a career that helps to protect and promote the restoration and growth of wildlife, trees, and foliage in FL. Joe was very entertaining and gives all of himself to make the experience memorable for everyone in the group. He blended with every personality type in the group and made it fun for all. My only recommendation to participants would be to bring bug spray if you are prone to bug bites. I agree with other reviews about trying to book the morning tour if you can. I love the sun and heat…but I could see where it could get miserably hot in the afternoon trips. Bring sunscreen. This trip is for everyone. Not limited by your paddling level or ability to swim. There is no area in the water that would be too deep for paddlers if they get out of their kayak. Great time had by me and my son! Would definitely do it again! Thank you Joe!!
