Shannon Scott offered us an interesting and thoughtful history of the inhabitants of Bonaventure Cemetery. Afterward we enjoyed a private dinner at a local restaurant where Shannon shared artifacts with more history. Charming, eloquent, well done.

Shannon Scott provides a wonderful description of one of the many wonders of Savannah: Bonaventure Cemetery. Put this tour as one of the main attractions to see in Savannah. Shannon is an excellent tour guide with a wealth of information. One top of that: he's a very nice guy.

On Christmas Day of 2011 I treated my Mom and myself to Shannon Scott's Bonaventure Cemetery Tour. I have been visiting Savannah and Bonaventure for the past 12 years and have now lived in Savannah for 3 years. This tour, by far, was the best tour I've taken in Savannah....and I've taken a lot of them. Through the years of visits Iā€™ve come to know a decent amount of stories about Bonaventure but what was so fantastic is that at least 90% of what Shannon shared with us were things I'd never heard before. Plus, some of Shannon's stories are from personal experience - which makes it that much more fun. Shannon is incredibly knowledgeable of Savannah and Bonaventure so the tour is extremely engaging and always interesting. I've always said a trip to Savannah is not complete without a visit to Bonaventure - now I have to say it's not complete without a tour of Bonaventure with Shannon Scott. There is something magical about the place - you'll know it when you see it and it will continue to draw you back every time you are in the city.
