Built on a trust lot facing Lafayette Square, the house, enhanced by its original mid-nineteenth century garden, provides a glimpse of the genteel life of nineteenth-century Savannah in an urban setting. Juliette Magill Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA , was born in Savannah, Georgia, on October 31, 1860. She died January 17, 1927 in the Andrew Low House

My husband and I were visiting from Connecticut to do some historical research but as owners and operators of a haunted history tour ourselves, we love to go out on spooky outings. The trolley was super fun. Our guide, Bernadette was theatrical, funny and captured so many details in such a short amount of time. Being able to go in a historic house at night was remarkable -- such a great addition and the staff there was also so into their tours and then the chandlery production was fabulous -- unexpected but brought in elements of a haunted attraction with a ghost tour and a great actress. We had a blast. If you are looking for more history, you'll want to take some day tours or visit museums as there's not much time to delve into that on this tour. and this puts a really fun end to the day of touring.

The sincerity and voice inflection used by our guide, "Scarlett" really brought the stories to life and you could almost see yourself in the past experiencing it for yourself.
