I wish there was a way to give this minus stars. This tour was so bad it was comical. First, we had to stand outside the office because the ticket fellow didn't have a key to the building. And everything went downhill from there. This was supposed to be a holiday tour of the historic district -- but there were no Christmas lights to be seen. We drove around dark, deserted squares until our driver got us pinned in on a street that was closed for repaving. Unfortunately, she couldn't back up because she didn't have the proper license to back up the trolley. (Go figure). We would probably still be there but the workmen eventually took pity on us and made a way for us to get through. The sound system went from zero to ear-splitting at random times. And it seems totally unsafe to expect one young woman to drive the bus, narrate the tour, manage the sound system, lead the (god-awful) singing, and try to keep everyone's spirits up. It must be against the law! AND, as another reviewer mentioned, the promised cookies and cider consisted of an Orea and apple juice. I must admit the brief tour of the Davenport House was enjoyable BUT overall this was a dismal, overpriced excuse for a promised festive experience. Do not book this tour!

The Grinch was great and the caroling was fun but we did not care for a historical ride. We thought that the holiday ride was going to consist of sightseeing Christmas lights.

Singing of carols was best part. Not a lot of Christmas decor was up around town. Davenport house was ok and so was the Marriott stop.
