Great way to see the city! Knowledgeable tour guide. The company called to ask where we were staying to pick us up at the hotel! They went over and above!

Land portion - this was a decent overview of the Historic District area. It would have been great to have heard some stories of the area or the people he was referring to. Maybe it was just that our guide was not as engaging as other tour guides were. Be aware that the offered free use of the trolley the next day involves calling for a pickup. While I understand the reason for that, we ultimately decided to just walk, given our limited time in the area. Sea portion - this was a good overview of the impact of the river on Savannah's economy. The narrator was engaging and informative. It was interesting to hear about the various industries represented and to see Old Fort Jackson from the river perspective. Overall, we were glad we had taken this tour, as it capped off a really busy visit and was an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. The day we went was extraordinarily windy, but we sat on the top deck anyway because the tables on the inside were all taken. I was surprised that they were using glass drinking glasses and beer bottles, given that something breaking could have caused someone injury. As it was, the wind did blow several glasses over from the bar, along with a beer bottle from a neighboring table. The crew quickly cleaned it up but that is something they should change going forward.
