The group size was much too large. The Savannah sidewalks are small and there's a lot of street crossings - I felt like it was difficult to keep up and, a lot of times, to hear what the guide was saying. Locations were good, but stories were pretty standard. Not a bad option, but there are better.

We are sorry to hear that you didnā€™t have a 5-star experience with us. Our company follows the city mandate in Savannah, which allows 30 guests per guide. We understand this might be overwhelming for some! We appreciate all feedback, and we assure you we will use this for future tour improvement. To make up for this, we would like to offer you free tickets to use in any of our cities, without expiration, in hopes of giving you a much better experience.

The tour guide we had started off quirky and fun but the second we got into the stories and history of the town, it became apparent he was racist. I know this is the south, and some people might expect that of the locals but I was shocked. He blatantly said ā€œI know Iā€™m supposed to be politically correct but I donā€™t want to be!ā€ He used a lot of outdated and racist language that was NOT for historical purposes. We left the tour half hour in because we couldnā€™t continue to listen to him white-wash the past.

This is completely unacceptable and we as a company do not tolerate any sort of outdated or racist terminology. Our tours are heavily scripted, and the guide going off-script for his personal opinion is something we will have to confront immediately. Please contact our customer support team directly to discuss this further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Jakob Vicars was our tour guide and he is a fantastic storyteller and really captures the crowd. My friends and I had a fantastic time and would definitely do this tour again!
