Overview
Stroll along streets lined with southern live oak trees draped in Spanish moss on this self-guided walking tour of beautiful Savannah. You’ll discover how and why the city was established, and learn about the battles that were fought here. You’ll hear stories filled with intrigue and, as Savannah’s southern charm draws you in, you'll hear how this city has grown into the popular destination it is today.

High points along the way include:

• Discovering the history and home of the Gordon family, along with Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts
• Seeing where Forrest Gump sat with his box of chocolates
• Exploring a former battleground

This was really well presented. The app is easy to download- the woman guiding you seems lovely and personable for being just a voice. It’s nice that the gps picks up where you are but the pause button can be used when you get distracted and explore something else. This tour is a VERY BRIEF overview of Savannah. In :45 you breeze up the center and learn a tiny portion of the history. However! This can be a great starting point and we found ourselves able to navigate easily after the tour and finding places we wanted to explore more on our own. We were very pleased and had more than one person walk by and say to their partner ‘oh look! We could have a tour on our phone’

This is a great informative tour for when you just want to put an earbud in and move at your own pace. You can pause it to grab a drink or linger somewhere. Great inexpensive option.

Very educational. Detailed walking directions and map were helpful. The tour only includes the squares along Bull St.
