What To Expect
1
Oglethorpe Square
Oglethorpe Square, nestled in the heart of Savannah, Georgia, is steeped in history and haunted lore. Here, in the shadow of ancient oaks, many claim to witness the restless spirits of Yellow Fever victims, forever trapped in their fevered delirium, wandering the square in a tragic, eternal loop.
2
Wright Square
Wright Square, a historic gem of Savannah, is famously haunted by the restless spirit of Tomochichi, the revered Native American leader whose grave lies beneath the square. Visitors often report eerie sightings and a sense of being watched, as if the ghost of Tomochichi lingers, guarding his final resting place with a spectral presence.
3
Colonial Park Cemetery
Colonial Park Cemetery, one of Savannah's oldest and most enduring burial grounds, holds the remains of a diverse array of figures, from Revolutionary War soldiers to victims of the Yellow Fever epidemic. Amid its historic graves and weathered tombstones, visitors often encounter eerie phenomena, as the spirits of those who once rested here seem to linger, their stories whispering through the cemetery’s shadowed paths.

My husband and I were visiting Savannah for the first time and booked this ghost tour on the spur of the moment. I'm so glad we did! I love hearing the real stories behind this very old city - and this outing did not disappoint. The tour started just after 8 pm as the sun was beginning to set. I enjoyed walking through the different squares on a balmy evening, and liked the fact that we were a small, intimate group. No trolley, and no jogging to keep up with 20 people as you're rushed from attraction to attraction. Instead, we had a very personable guide, Rebecca, who told great stories that really did bring the former residents of the city to life. The story about the Foley House (now an inn) still sticks with me days later. The historic district is beautiful, but I now see all of these homes in a totally different light!

Had a great tour with Rebecca last night. There were a lot of ghost tours to pick from, but we chose this one because it was new and they guaranteed small groups. We had about 8 people on our tour. Our tour guide was a good orator and kept our interest- the focus of the stories were on the hauntings and ghost encounters, but it was still historical. This made it seem more real. I recommend this tour, and you must see Savannah at night, wether or not you take this tour or another, Savannah is beautiful after dark.
