If you love history and good food, this is a great tour for you! We did an 11am tour and this was not only lunch but will only need a light dinner. I highly recommend requesting Blake Mims. He is 12th generation from Charleston and has a wealth of information on history, food, and a great sense of humor!

This was my second tour of the day. The tour guide was great. She gave us many good culinary tips on where to dine in Charleston. She did a good job in every place we stopped in to eat and gave us a full description of what they are famous for and a sample of it. I will say the portions were not what I thought they would be. I guess coming off the Iceland food tour you get spoiled. I will say that if you do the 2 to 4:30 tour you will be hungry by 8 pm so do not expect to be so full you are good for the rest of the night. I will say I do not know how the company has it set up with restaurants but it was just a small sample of what they are special for. This is ok but like I said my other food tour spoiled you. The guide like I said gave us worth wild knowledge of where to eat for the rest of my trip.

Dena was outstanding and variety of tastings excellent. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. Learns lots of history. Only comment would be to have pastry at end of tour. Thoroughly enjoyed am.
